Meet CRTC

Sarah Choppen | Artistic Director

Sarah is the founder of the Chain Reaction Theatre Company. Since 1994, she has produced and directed many of the company’s 20 theatre performances and video projects. Sarah has extensive experience of working with young people (many of whom have emotional and behavioural problems) as a youth worker, workshop facilitator and music studio technician.

Sarah is also a professional actor and has performed on stage and screen, including in a few of Chain Reaction’s productions! Besides considerable fundraising, acting and directing activities, Sarah is a qualified yoga teacher and a self confessed nutrition nerd.

Fliss Green | Workshop Project Manager

Fliss joined Chain Reaction in 2008 as an actress and workshop facilitator, after graduating from Rose Bruford drama school. She has performed in and tour-managed several of the company’s performances and successfully managed many of the company’s key workshop projects with young people. Fliss has strong management skills and an open and engaging way of working with young people.

With a background in physical theatre, devising and contemporary theatre she has been involved in the planning and running of interactive workshops for many years, with young people aged 4-19 of all abilities.

Anjali Rundle | Senior Project Manager

Anjali has been with Chain Reaction since June 2007, managing many of the company’s key projects and fundraising extensively for our work. With a background in arts and corporate marketing, she also contributes to CRTC’s marketing and PR strategies, web development and other creative projects.

Anjali is a trained musician and also undertakes freelance work in marketing, events management, project/arts management, fundraising, music workshops for early years and song-writing.

Lucy Marks | Administrator

Lucy has been involved with Chain Reaction for almost two years as a workshop facilitator, performer and tour manager. She graduated from Cambridge University in 2009 with a degree in English Literature. During her years at University Lucy was avidly involved in theatre and performed in a number of productions and wrote and performed with the renowned Cambridge Footlights.

Since graduating Lucy has worked as a theatre producer, actor and workshop facilitator. In 2011 she produced Tom Attenborough’s Directing debut; Neil Labute’s The Shape Of Things at The Gallery Soho. Her huge range of skills contributes to her success in the key support role in our busy office here at Chain Reaction.

Simon Eves | Administrator

Simon joined Chain Reaction in April 2009, bringing a range of skills and experience to the company from finance through to film-making.
Simon has a strong background in directing, media and music, in his spare time he runs his own production company working on a range of artistic projects for a rich and diverse clientele base.
His vast experience of working with children and young people has always been rooted in projects that are both educational and theatrical.
